Using Beans as a Relay Crop
Access Agriculture produced a video aimed at farmers explaining how beans can be planted in between rows of corn. The video shares information about bean varieties with higher yields and higher iron levels, as well how to plant beans, how to fertilize beans, and how to best store beans to avoid pests.
Access Agriculture is an international, nonprofit organization that hosts an online platform for sharing farmer-to-farmer videos. They strive to promote the transition to agroecology and organic farming across the global south.
