Jane Maland Cady, International Program Director at MF, approached MESI regarding the opportunity to submit a RA proposal for an advanced evaluation graduate student for the CCRP program. CCRP supports capacity building for young talent through a variety of efforts aimed at supporting graduate students. Because of the need and opportunity expand experience and understanding of international evaluation, this is a good fit between the UMN – MESI and McKnight Foundation. The RA will work closely with her and other evaluation professionals working with CCRP in planning and conducting the CCRP program evaluation. In addition, the position will provide an opportunity to test the collaborative RA model of the newly expanded Minnesota Evaluation Studies Institute (MESI) in that the RA will also be supervised by Dr. John LaVelle to maximize the student’s evaluative learning.
